The amount of the deposit varies by type of container:
- 10 cents for most aluminum or plastic beverage containers of 100 ml to 2 L
- 10 cents for glass soft drink and beer bottles of under 500 ml
- 25 cents for glass soft drink and beer bottles of over 500 ml
These amounts are added to the cost you pay when purchasing beverages. They are refunded when you bring the empty containers back to a Consignaction return site.
